Guide to install eSIM on your phone

IMPORTANT

  • Before installing your eSIM, please make sure that you have a stable internet connection (wifi or 4G signals)
  • Please take note that each eSIM profile can only be installed once, and cannot be re-used or re-installed afterwards.
  • Please do not delete your eSIM profile, we won’t be able to recover your eSIM after deletion.

For iOS devices

Note: To set up eSIM, the device must have an Internet connection (WiFi or mobile data) and a compatible operating system version installed. To activate eSIM, users must upgrade their iPhone to iOS 12.1.

Step 1: Go to Settings > Mobile > Add Mobile Plan*.

Step 2: Activate the camera on your phone and point it to the QR code provided by the network to add and activate the eSIM.

Alternatively, you can choose Manual Entry to enter the activation information from the Gohub order confirmation email.

Step 3: Enter the OTP code from the network, if any. Wait 2-3 minutes for the iPhone to activate the eSIM. To use mobile data on the eSIM, go to Settings > Mobile > Mobile Data > Select the phone number (SIM) you want to use as the default for network access.

For Android devices

Note: To set up eSIM, the device must have an Internet connection and be running a compatible operating system version.

Step 1: Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager.

 

Step 2: In the eSIM section, press Add Mobile Package, wait a moment, then press Scan the network’s QR code.

Step 3: Use the phone’s camera to scan the QR code sent in the confirmation email from Gohub. Alternatively, press Add with activation code to manually enter the code sent in the confirmation email.

Step 4: Wait until the notification “Add this package to your phone?” appears. Press Confirm to add the new mobile package.

Step 5: Access the eSIM section to set up call, text, and mobile data settings for the eSIM. Restart the device if necessary to ensure the eSIM is receiving signal.
